The Call to Action:
We need your help and support.
Patient's that recieve an organ transplant today will likely need a second transplant in their lifetime to stay alive because the current therapies are not adequate to prevent all damage. Poor long-term survival of a transplanted organ is one of the major problems in transplant today. Kidney, heart, liver and pancreas transplants last 10-15 years on average. Lung and small bowel/intestinal transplants, last 5 years on average.
We believe that we can end transplant failure and make a patient's first transplant last forever. Our day-to-day research focuses on solving this problem but we could solve the problem faster with your support. Check out the shirts below. Get one and wear it proudly to spread the message.
