Susie Terasaki, Board Member

Susie Terasaki is an aspiring instructional designer currently pursuing a Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology at the University of San Diego. She completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

After graduating in 2019, Susie began her teaching career as a teacher at an independent school in Los Angeles. Most recently, she served as the 3rd Grade Lead Teacher at Westside Neighborhood School, where she implemented innovative curriculum programs. Beyond the classroom, she played key leadership roles, including Faculty Co-Chair for the AAPI Collective, faculty facilitator for the middle school AAPI Affinity Group, and Lower School faculty representative on the school-wide DEIJ committee. Susie’s passion for education and creativity reflects the essence of the Terasaki Family’s mission, driving her to design educational solutions that inspire and unite communities.
