I am excited to officially join the Terasaki Institute full time, after spending the past year working at Amazon. My time there was inspirational and educational in seeing how a successful company, like Amazon, operates.
Amazon has a culture set by trusting its workforce to encourage each other to excel and focus on big problems. This culture has been developed by implementing a set of leadership principles that help foster a fast-paced and aspiring environment that is scalable from small teams to their large enterprise of more than a million people. At the Terasaki Institute, we have also developed a set of Leadership Principles, adapted from Amazon, as I feel it is essential for recruiting and evaluating the performance of employees. These principles inspire and support an environment that appreciates solving real-world problems.
The Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation welcomes its Director and CEO, Ali Khademhosseini, PhD, who joins the institute with extensive research and leadership experience in the field of biomedical technology. READ MORE
