Omesh N. Ranasinghe, MPH, Statistician

Mr. Ranasinghe received an MPH in Epidemiology and has more than five years of experience working closely with patients, providers, and researchers in a clinical and public health setting. His research interests lie in kidney failure and organ transplant health policy and economics, and optimization of care in health systems to reduce disparities in access to care and improve efficiency in care delivery. His expertise lies in data analysis, and statistical (e.g. R, SAS) programming, and managing and analyzing data from large, national transplant and ESRD databases. Primarily, Mr. Ranasinghe conducts primary statistical analyses of data obtained from research studies, writes up information for publications and conference presentations, supports IRB submission for multiple aims, and attends collaborative meetings.
