(LOS ANGELES) — The Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation (TIBI) is pleased to welcome five new members to its Leadership Board. The TIBI Leadership Board comprises notable visionary individuals who utilize their expertise to promote key initiatives and provide valuable guidance on the institute's research and innovation strategies.
The new members are as follows:
Joseph A. Boystak- A healthcare venture capitalist, senior investment banker and serial company co-founder. Joseph serves in operational, investment, and advisory roles for multiple biomedical, MedTech, health IT, and AI ventures. Additionally, he is a board member of several non-profit organizations.
David Whelan - As a life sciences strategy consultant and Chief Business Officer of Big4Bio, Dave has a passion for the intersection of technology, health, and wellness, with an emphasis on business and organizational strategy. Formerly the Chief Executive Officer of BioscienceLA and Chief Strategy Officer of New York Genome Center, his healthcare experience spans across genomics, wearables, biotechnology, medical devices, digital and health.
Dr. Jonathan Greenburg - Founder and Chairman of Zyppah, Dr. Greenburg is a recognized authority in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. With over 40 years of experience, he has pioneered groundbreaking treatments and developed innovative devices. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Greenburg is a forward-thinking leader with significant experience in business development, marketing, and strategic management.
Rich Namerow - Managing Director at Huron, Rich brings over 30 years of expertise in healthcare management consulting, specializing in optimizing operational efficiencies and driving performance improvements. A recognized authority in healthcare technology implementation and financial strategy, he also shares his insights as an adjunct professor of finance at the University of Southern California (USC).
Dr. Neil M. Kogut – A highly experienced transplant surgeon and oncologist based in Los Angeles, California, with a medical career spanning over four decades. A graduate of the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in 1979, Dr. Kogut has dedicated 45 years to providing life-saving organ and stem cell transplants.
