(LOS ANGELES) – Dr. Ali Khademhosseini, CEO of the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation (TIBI), has been named the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Biomaterials Global Impact Award. This distinguished honor recognizes his outstanding research accomplishments and pioneering innovations in biomaterials science and engineering.
The award, presented by the leading journal Biomaterials, celebrates Dr. Khademhosseini's groundbreaking development of innovative hydrogel and micro/nanoengineered biomaterial systems. His advanced technologies have revolutionized the precise control of cell and tissue behaviors for regenerative medicine applications.
