KangJu Lee, Postdoctoral Researcher

KangJu Lee received his BS, Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Yonsei University, South Korea. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Yonsei University as well. His work has focused on drug delivery with microneedle/structure in the biomedical field. He has developed microneedles/structures which integrated with macro delivery systems including drug-eluting balloon, patch, reservoir, and injection application for the effective drug injection to dynamic biological environments. He has been specialized in micro-fabrication and micro-manufacturing with a mechanical engineering background and also in understanding unmet clinical needs through cooperation with biologists and medical doctors. In July 2018, he joined Dr. Ali Khademhosseini’s lab.
