Wei Huang is a Research Associate in Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation. He graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China, receiving his MA in Medical Immunology. He has rich basic knowledge and research experience in transplantation immunology. He applied for and completed a National Natural Sciences Foundation of China from 2010 to 2012.
He is an experienced Certified Histocompatibility Specialist offered by the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics. He possesses the theory and methodology of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) to perform the technically complex assays required to determine major histocompatibility complex (MHC) compatibility in transplant recipients and donors according to defined laboratory protocols.
